Paramparā Immersion is a guided course of studies in Yoga as Applied Mythology—uniting embodied practice, mythology, psychology, philosophy and contemplative inquiry.
Over the course of nine studies and nine in-person weekends, you will deepen your relationship to yoga, learn to recognize the stories and symbols shaping your life and become prepared to carry the teachings forward with integrity.


Previous teaching certification is not required.
A sincere interest in the practice and study of yoga and the willingness to participate fully in the circle are essential.

The Immersion develops the knowledge, practice and teaching skills needed to share yoga with clarity, creativity and care. Participants learn to create adaptable sequences from thoughtful themes that bring mythology, philosophy and contemplative inquiry into a meaningful experience of Hatha Yoga.
Upon successfully completion of all program requirements, participants receive a 200-hour Yoga Teacher certification eligible for RYT-200 with the Yoga Alliance.
