Songs & Bones

This is the story of La Loba, the Wolf Woman. She is a wild woman, a crone, who once and forever, lives deep in the wilderness of Pueblo territory. Her hair is matted, and dirty, and thin -black with silvered streaks that hang to her tailbone. Her withered hands and wizened face are bronzed from sunlight, and her posture is hunched low from days and nights of searching the mesa and canyon floors, for bones. La Loba is a bone hunter.
