Are you qualified to be IPY certified?

Beyond certification through the Yoga Alliance, graduates of the Institute for Inner Power Yoga® are eligible to apply for membership into our Inner Power Yoga® Certification program. ​These graduates demonstrate a deep commitment to the practice, precise awareness of alignment considerations, creativity in leadership, and an inspired personal interpretation of the unique teachings of Inner Power Yoga®

REQUIREMENTS
Any yogi(ni) who has completed the 200 hour Education may apply for certification.
Application must be accepted based on combined considerations, including: 
  • an inspired personal interpretation of the Inner Power Yoga® practice/teaching experience
  • a positive attitude and outlook
  • a deep commitment to the practice​
  • a heartfelt connection to the dance of spanda
  • precise awareness of alignment considerations
  • creativity as a teacher
  • demonstration of community leadership 
INVESTMENT
We ask you to maintain your certification annually with the following commitments: 
  • annual accumulation of 50 teaching hours
  • continued education
  • class review 
  • annual fee ($108) ​
  • adherence to the Inner Power Yoga codes of conduct.
